Blue Scrumpy left this review about Eagles Inn (Tafarn Yr Eryrod)
The Eagles Inn shares the building with the village shop. It is tucked away in the main part of the village off the main A494. Also sharing the staff from the shop, it opens every morning (possibly apart from Monday) at 11am, which allowed me to make an early start to my Thursday tour of Gwynedd.
The young lad running the shop appeared to serve me and then welcomed me into the bar area, which is in the same room as the shop. The solitary table was covered with the daily newspapers. So, I retreated back to the lounge/dining room which felt more like the breakfast room from a B & B.
The 2 Welsh ales on offer were Glaslyn & Seinethyn. My Seinethyn was rather lively, but well kept.
