A very non descript exterior in a dull grey, you have to enter the car park to find the rear entrance, although there is a small lockable gate off the main road too.The interior is in modern sports bar style, light walls ,lots of flatscreens while behind the central bar is a back room ,again with sports flatscreens. My visit coincided with a Coventry City match in the Championship playoff and virtually every punter was sporting a sky blues replica shirt so I decided to escape to the garden ,more like a covered smoking shed but with a wall mounted flatscreen also showing the game.
The regulars are an unfit bunch,so lots of use of the smoking area and the car park is popular with mobility scooter drivers. Some fine beer bellies were on dispay ,several not fully covered by sports kit attire.
Cash only at the bar, just one real ale Castle Rock Our House but decent,(NBSS 3.5,£3.30 = good value).
Great for watching sport but limited otherwise, not sure I would revisit despite the friendly barmaids welcomes.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Travellers Rest

The Travellers Rest is away from the town centre to the east of Bedworth. My late afternoon visit coincided with similar visits from a good mix of men and women enjoying post-work drinks, unlike the Bear & Ragged Staff in the town centre, which had been male-dominated. Locals were discussing how out of touch MPs were with reality!

As described previously, there is little decoration to the interior. TV's were all showing sports on 3 different channels. There is also an outdoor patio area to the side overlooking the pub's car park.

To my surprise, the pub was stocking a real ale. It seemed to be a little hidden away and I half thought that the beer (Acorn Yorkshire Pride) might not actually be on. But it was, and in fairness, it was in reasonable quality. I'd never have guessed that I would find two Acorn (Yorkshire) beers on my ventures through Warwickshire, but there it was!

A typical down-to-earth local boozer.

Plain-looking pub, both inside and out, with the two bars having been refurbished relatively recently in a semi-modern style. However, the lack of decoration (and customers on a Wednesday evening) meant that it felt rather sterile. Two handpumps can be found on the central servery, one of which was operational and dispensing the dreaded Wells Eagle IPA (but at least this was drinkable and only £2.50). Keg options include Bombardier and a rare excursion for Sam Smith's Dark Mild in a Midlands freehouse.
