Quinno _ left this review about Thames Tavern
Ind Coope pub which appeared in the Good Beer Guide between 1974-1976. Described to me as "a gem of a pub right by the lock, famous for its doorstep sarnies". Long gone – demolished as part of the Newtown clearances in the late 1970's and replaced by a block of flats.
