Dear Mr Winfield,
On the day of your visit (I remember seeing you take your picture) we were in the process of preparing the pub for a private function. I believe you sat in the window seat of the bar area. Apologies for our pub looking "a right mess inside" but due to swapping all our tables for tressle ones (to increase seating capacity) there were, as you observed, chairs seemingly "scattered about".
A member of our staff should have explained to you at the time of service that the pub looked like this for a reason but sadly for us they did not. We have spent pain staking hours on refurbishing the pub and brightening it up. The front of the pub is now very dissimilar to the photograph on this site and the garden has changed greatly also.
We would welcome you back to try our equally good SBA and to update this picture as well as to have a look around. I have emailed this website with regards to this matter but have heard nothing in the last 2 weeks by way of reply.
Regards
Jon Kerr

The Coach and Horses is on the busy A424 in the small settlement called Ganborough.
This pub is sideways onto the road and once inside there was one room with the bar facing as you entered, there was a raised area to the left this had chairs scattered about but no tables and looked a mess the area to the right had a large table laid out as though a wedding meal might take place but no bride, groom or guests were to be seen so this left a couple of tables close to the main entrance which is where we sat.
This pub is a Donnington tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Donnington BB and this was a decent drink the other beer was Donnington SBA.
This pub looked a right mess inside if a wedding party was due in then i apologise.
