It's a conference centre bar masquerading as a pub. Overpriced bar food is complemented by London Pride piped through in exactly that over-gassed, over-chilled way that beer shouldn't be. They did have a selection of Meantime bottled ales, but when I asked for one was told by a teenager in a uniform that I couldn't have one from the counter because it 'wasn't cold enough'. The staff are pretty amateurish, the food was bland, so it's nothing more than a convenient meeting point or people who happen to be at an exhibition.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tavern
Pub/restaurant located at mezzanine level at the west end of the main concourse through the ExCel centre, curiously run by an outfit called Chozen Noodle Ltd. All rather soul-less, but at least it provides somewhere to sit down away from the mayhem during a busy exhibition. No real ale, so it was just a quick pint of keg London Pride at £3.80 and I was off.
