Routine edge of town Toby Carvery/Travelodge affair in one of the many thirties roadhouses which surround Coventry. This one does what it says on the tin and the popular carvery is one of the better examples of the genre. Three handpumps but just the one working, dispensing, oddly for an M%B outlet, Pedigree. I stuck to wifebeater, which seems to be the drink of choice in these parts. Service is chirpy. Not the sort of place you include on a crawl but if you were stopping in the hotel there's no real need to venture further on rainly night.
