Probably once a nice multi room pub it’s been opened out into a sizeable space. Left and right of the entrance are raised areas with banquette seating, grey tongue and groove and plain walls above with old photos of the area. Further back the long counter runs along the left side wall with a lot of spare space to the right, I was surprised not to see a pool table there but the screens, machine and piped music were all present and correct. There’s the vestige of a small back room at the far end left. Three T-bars of usual suspects but sadly or otherwise just John Smiths or Guinness were available. Strangely fenced off front patio. Maybe I was too early for any mingebags though, a shame as I always like entertainment in pubs.
