A locals pub a long way out of Glossop, probably an ex Boddingtons pub, the signage is still there and most of the kegs on offer are poured out of Boddingtons founts. The few others are usual stuff like Carling and Kopparberg. Two rooms, the left hand one has the pool table, just seating and screens in the right where two rooms have been knocked together. Nevertheless a fair bit of a nice old pub remains with decorative arches, the woodwork, original banquettes albeit reupholstered, the panelled counter still in the original place. The ceiling is a give away too. Vaping seems to be particularly frowned upon here.

The Grapes is a smallish stone built pub that is just away from the town centre.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a decent enough room, the pub still had its Boddingtons signs outside but there were no real Boddingtons beers inside there was only the Boddingtons smooth cream crap on the bar so i had a drink of Guinness which was a decent drink.
This was a decent enough pub its just a shame there were no real aels on here.
