Stayed at The North Star Feb 27th 2015 for one night. Special deal of bed, breakfast, 3 course evening meal. Well, the evening meal for a start never disappoints. Plenty of food and friendly service. Room was nice and clean and view was excellent! (although kettle needs changing now and bits and bobs in bathroom need tending to). Breakfast superb! Will definitely be visiting again. xx

I really liked this pub/restaurant, as the staff were friendly and the food very good. Regular John Smiths beer, Boddingtons etc. - they really need to get in some local beers though, not a great selection of real ales. A bit like stepping back in time here - a Heartbeat style sort of place, but would return.
