As the previous review, the Union was again closed an a sunny Saturday afternoon in spite of a notice on the door saying "Now open"!

This place was closed mid-afternoon on a very sunny Saturday May Bank Holiday weekend. It didn't look like much through the window so its either closed down or is an evening only place.

The Union is a typical town pub at the end of the pedestrianised high street and it is also fairly close to the river.
This pub has been opened out inside and it was fairly smart.
This pub is a Marstons tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Marstons bitter which was a nice drink there was also Pedigree.
The pub was very busy on my visit.
