A very standard roadside pub that is 95% restaurant with only a few high tables in front of the bar exclusively for drinkers. It is very quiet mid week and you would have no problem using any of the tables for a drink but come weekends when it is rammed full of family's and you would be turned away unless you are eating which i really don't like. decorated in a very generic chain style and mostly carpeted throughout it also has a good amount of tables outside but right next to a loud busy main road that I cant imagine would be very peaceful on a hot day.

beer is very poor and only from Greene king with Abbot and IPA always on. I had an Abbot a few weeks back for £3.50 and it was fairly ok but had a Greene king IPA tonight that was the first of the barrel and although crystal clear was very new and a pretty poor drink. I have seen castle Rocks harvest Pale on the usually unused third ump on Saturdays when there is more trade but never on week days.

Overall a very poor excuse for a pub/an average excuse for a restaurant as it serves up a big portioned budget carvery that is near to where I work. Id never go here for just a drink and neither does anyone else as it is situated in between an industrial estate and office block with no local residents really within walking distance to use it as a pub. but it serves its purpose for a bit to eat.

This is a large modern pub /restaurant that is close to the river trent.
Once inside this pub was very busy with familys dining the back half of the pub is for diners only.
The bar is on the right and i was surprised to see a real ale on here this was a beer from Nutbrook brewery it may have been Nutbrook bitter and this was a very nice drink.
This is not really a pub to go to just for a drink but i was made welcome here and the drink was quite nice.
