You enter this pub into one large room dominated by a large TV and a pool table. There's a smaller "lounge" area to the right, but deafening music was being blasted out in there at 3 on a Friday afternoon, no-one was listening. The attractive young girl behind the bar looked very out of place. Hi vis jackets and tracksuits are the normal uniform in here. No real ale of course, so I had a quick half of something fizzy amd left. It's truly awful.

The Cotton Tree is a back street pub that is fairly close to to the Royal Oak.
The pub had Websters signs outside but once inside there were only Wilsons beers on the bar,the pub had two decent rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a fairly nice room,there were two real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Wilsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Wilsons mild.
