Graham Coombs left this review about The William Morgan

A Stonegate pub in full Spoons mode, with added TV screens in every direction. Pleasant enough, and with Brains SA and Rev James joining Doom Bar on the pumps.

A former Smith And Jones place and basically the same.

Steve C left this review about The Clwydian

The Clwydian is a long high street pub with seating at the front, a bar along the left hand wall that faces another seating area and a further seating section at the rear. Out the back is a paved beer garden with both covered and uncovered seating. Plasma screens are found throughout and Sky Sports is shown.
My visit was at 11:30 on Sunday morning when the pub was fairly busy with people watching the Ashes and having lunch. The bar was serving alcohol at this time so there must be an early license. Standard draught was available alongside San Miguel and Peroni. The bar also supports two banks of three hand pumps that were both drawing Brains S A Gold, Sharp’s Doom Bar and Courage Best. The food is cheap pub co grub and there are various meal and drink deals to be had throughout the week. This pub opens at 10am (10:30 on Sundays) to serve breakfast.
There is a quiz from 20:30 on Sundays and Thursdays.

I’ve been in far worse high street chain pubs.
