Brainy Pool left this review about The Coffee House
a huge, impressive looking building at the end of Picton high street. it’s ornate and elegant inside, and there are still original features - plus an impressive old Cains poster partly obscured by a Sky Sports promotion. But it’s basically a locals sport TV pub now, though far more comfortable than any of those on the high street. the music was too loud and there’s no real ale so a quick San Miguel (£4) and on my way.

Quite a nice pub and by far the more decorative of the area. Consists of 2 rooms with one designared as 'The Coffee Lounge'. 3 handpumps are to be found on the bar in the room to your right of which only 1 was in use serving Hobgob.
