Wetherspoons wannabe. It does serve real ale but not a particularly good selection. Much better pubs around.

The Maskery is a Smith&Jones pub in the middle of Congleton,it looks quite modern from the outside and once inside it has the usuall Smith&Jones layout with one large room with tall tables and chairs in the middle and more comfy seating elsewhere.
There were three real ales on here i had a drink of Youngs Bitter which was a decent drink the other beers were Shepherd Neame Spitfire and Bombadier.
This pub was busy with a lot of people having coffees.
