Instantly forgettable pub experience... tartan carpets, wooden paneling and all tables setup for big menu dining.
Dogs allowed in one area.
Farne Island in good condition but this and a pepsi was neatly £8. Seemed expensive.

This is more a hotel with dining room than a traditional pub, but due to its excellent location and the wonderful panoramic views afforded from the outside terrace or the beer garden, it is a decent place for a bite to eat and a pint if you can’t get in the Olde Ship hotel opposite.
You can choose to eat in the dining area with panoramic views, upstairs in the Sea View Lounge or in the beer garden or outside terrace overlooking the Farne Islands.
Two real ale pumps available with Black Sheep Bitter and Hadrian Border Brewery Farne Island, so obviously not the same choice as across the road but still decent enough to go with the crab sandwiches.
