This small venue has been a few things over the years, mainly restaurants and bistros, and most recently a bar called The Lounge. It has now been taken over and renamed 143 Bar. It’s a small narrow bar that goes back quite a way and has a tiny counter. Seems to be owner run by a friendly host and aiming to attract Watford’s more mature/refined clientele. Very much an evening bar with music at the weekends. Couple of lagers on draught, no real ale but they have managed to find the odd bottle of Abbot on the couple of occasions I’ve been in.
