Surprisingly smart for a rock bar. It's all one big room, but with several different areas. Lots of photos on the walls of famous musicians. We called in on a Sunday, early evening, so it's going to be very different when there's a band on. Sadly there's no real ale so I had a Beavertown Neck Oil which was served very, very cold. It's a pleasant enough place, so we may well call in for one again.

a renowned music venue that's not bad inside with a nice tiled floor round the counter and boards elsewhere, seating is benches at the edges with mainly tables and chairs in the other parts of the single room. There's a big square counter /servery in the middle with a selection of kegged beers, wines and cocktails as the big display of spirit bottles will testify. Decorated with pictures of musicians and with carefully chosen piped music this is a music venue and opens at five pm till late. It's laid back and friendly and when the live music isn't on the stage in one corner there's table football and a big screen or two.
