smelled heavily of old chips - the chips tasted old too. Odd garnishes!- onion rings with sweet and sour, tinned peaches alongside fresh kiwi on the salad ergh!- elderly couple stopped at our table to ask about our food as they had not had a pleasant meal and had been checking out the place before bringing their son when we said it wasn't nice either they left and said they wouldn't return and neither will I. Staff too busy chatting to regulars to be bothered even to acknowledge presence - sent to table rather than shown to it. tables too crammed together to be comfortable others jostled your table or chair as they fought to get to their table or away from it.decor at best old fashioned and tired!

Walked into a very busy ( heaving )pub on a Friday night - after being shown to our reserved table - the only free one - I was horrified to note that not only was our table very sticky but the wasted ammount of food that all the other tables hadn't eaten, If it had been just me and my husband we'd have walked out again but a friend had taken us there.
Then when our food arrived the salad at best was unappetising what reputable eating establishment puts a tinned peach slice as a garnish!!!! The meat although looking very good was dry as if it had been cooked and kept warm! Don't get me started on the chips!! as everyone else seemed to be leaving so many I actually had concerns that ours had been recycled they tasted like they had been kept warm or reheated several times- like the meat they were well done and dry.Like the rest of the customers we left the majority of the meal and actually by the time we had finished the place was empty, it seems to be a place that you go to fill up on at best mediocre food at inflated prices. The waste food bins must have been overflowing by the end of the weekend. They need to concentrate on quality not quantity
