Real Ale Ray left this review about Ye Olde Ship Inn

A good sized traditional style pub from the outside, but had recently gone through a major refurb internally. The interior is now bright and airy with a grey timber bar front, oak counter top. The walls were mainly painted white, apart from a couple of painted feature walls. All the banquette seating had been reupholstered with a stripped patterned material. Four handpumps with three in use, serving Theakston Lightfoot, Ossett Blonde and Bombardier.
