Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cox's Yard

Converted timber yard, with a two-storey bar / restaurant housed in the largest building and a daytime pantry in part of another. Also has plenty of covered and open-air tables beside the river with fine views of the historic bridges. Four handpumps on the counter, dispensing Eagle IPA and Globe Hopper pale ale (£3.85) from Charles Wells, Young's London Gold and Courage Best.

Purpose built modern pine barn structure, a large bar at the bottom and bands play above.

Close to the river, Loungy, sofas it has a relaxed feel and is a nice place to visit though a little pricey.

Large purpose built pub with a huge riverside patio. There's a venue upstairs with some top rock names from the 70's appearing. Steve Gibbons Band, Budgie and Dr Feelgood to name but 3 appearing soon. Mind you I wouldn't have paid £17 to see Steve Gibbons in his heyday never mind now. They only have one handpump which was serving Bombardier when we were there and it was £3 a pint which is very pricey even for a tourist trap like Stratford, it was kept OK though. It was late October and it was still warm enough to sit outside on the patio. We shared a mixed platter involving samosa's, chicken bites, spring rolls, wedges etc which wasn't bad at all. The main bar area has a pool table and several fruit/quiz machines, flag floors and some comfy sofas. It's not great but it's much better than the pathetic staff at the Pen & Parchment would have you believe.
