The Green Dragon is an L-shaped pub with an lino floored bar to the right with an L-shaped counter that faces the entrance and seating in the front window. On the right-hand wall is a log fire and on the wall next to the entrance is a jukebox that was supplying the background music. To the left is a laminate floor area with a pool table and behind is a carpeted seating area with two dartboards on the left-hand wall. The bar supports standard keg and one of the five hand pumps was in operation drawing Big Sur, which was very good. This is a popular locals boozer that I would use if I lived in the vicinity, but I don’t so a return visit is very doubtful.

Malden man left this review about The Green Dragon
A basic traditional town pub with a clientele of older male drinkers with that all day feel about them based on this single afternoon visit, most occupying bar stools. Three connected areas, one has a pool table another a dartboard. Wall mounted TVs, a fireplace to one end and seating at regular tables with green banquettes. The TVs were off and Elvis was pumping out of the speakers. Four handpumps but just one clipped with a passable if sparklered Directors. Cocktails are apparently two for £5 so the client base may change in the evening. One is called Tall Red Headed Slut. No further comment necessary. This is not a pub to take your granny to.
