The Gaslamp was the scene of my worst beer of an epic pub crawly through Aberdeen. It was coming up lively and the barmaid had little skill in pouring. When it finally arrived, it stank of egg. As it was only a half, I decided to leave it. I noted two dartboards, one of which was being used for a league match during my recent Monday evening visit. Sky Sports was airing on the plasma screens found throughout. I didn’t spot any menus, but there is an open kitchen at the rear. As I left I noticed that most were drinking bottled beer.
