The Cairn sits in a former school teachers house. It is a real community pub. Extension to the former house gives a function room, which is available for hire, where meals can be eaten as can the bar area. The meals are better than bar food and bordering on restaurant quality. Plus, another room at the rear with multiple dart boards, set out professionally and used by the local darts team. There are newspapers on the bar available for use by all. On draught there is Belhaven Best, Belhaven Best Extra Cold, John Smiths Extra Cold, Tennent’s Carling, Strongbow Original, Strongbow Dark Fruit & Guinness. There is some very limited parking at the rear and more parking in the surrounding streets.
