Village pub situated deep into the countryside. Opening hours are restricted to evenings on Wednesday-Friday during the week and all day at weekends.

The pub had a few customers in on my early Friday evening visit, including after work drinkers and families. A TV was showing Pointless and then the BBC News, where locals could catch up on the latest Covid developments. There was also a games area at one end of the pub, with a darts board and pool table.

A friendly welcome was offered and despite initially expecting no real ale, I soon located a handpull dispensing Facer's DHB.

The only pub in the village and worth visiting if you ever find yourself here.
