On our travels to Alcester, we noticed that The Fish had reopened so we decided to pop in. The interior of the pub has had a declutter, and little remains of the previous decor . As before, the pub is set out for dining, but this was not a negative. My partner ordered an ale, unfortunately we can't remember the name, but it was in excellent condition. In fact it was so good, that my partner ordered another pint.
We decided to sit outside in the lovely beer garden, which is idyllicly situated next to the River Arrow. Some very tame Geese came to enjoy the surroundings. Maybe the pub should consider stocking Mad Goose!
But seriously, we had a lovely time, and would have stayed longer if we had not wanted to travel to Alcester.

Well described by others, the range of weird and wacky objects has, if anything, expanded. It's worth a look just for that but feels a bit cramped and all laid up for eating. Anyway main reason for visiting is the extensive garden down to the river, with some nice gazebos for shade or shelter. All have reserved signs on them but you are fine outside of mealtimes.
Just Butty Bach and HPA on the pumps, we stuck to eurofizz due to the heat. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Not sure where to start with this one. It is a pub full of slogans, nick nacks, mannequins, including a couple of rather large apes. You could wander round all day and not see everything. The beer was ok but rather mainstream. We chose Purity Mad Goose which was fine. A very large garden takes you down to the river with a camping field.
