Not sure where to start with this one. It is a pub full of slogans, nick nacks, mannequins, including a couple of rather large apes. You could wander round all day and not see everything. The beer was ok but rather mainstream. We chose Purity Mad Goose which was fine. A very large garden takes you down to the river with a camping field.

Not my cup of tea. All too jolly, with jokey slogan signs, a shark above the door and plenty of mannequins and nick nacks.

Roaring fire that made the place hotter than the sun.

Nowhere for a drinker to sit - mainly setup for dining.

Family play areas.

5 of the 6 handpulls were turned around but no complaints with my Wadworth 6x

The Fish is situated close to the River Arrow, the pub is set sideways onto the road.
Once inside the main room was oblong shaped, there were tables laid out for diners near the entrance with some in use,the serving bar was to the rear left, the seating in this area was normal tables and chairs, there was a very high ceiling in this area, there was what looked to be like a proper bar area to the rear left, but this area was too busy for us to drink in.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Purity Mad Goose which was a nice drink but served without a smile, the other beers were Wye Valley Butty Bach and Hobgoblin.
The pub was very busy with drinkers and diners on our Saturday dinner visit.
Other reviewers seem to like this pub, but this was the second worst pub of our visit to the Alcester area.
