Modern, quite striking building that I rather liked what with its glass-tile turret. Sadly it's a Harvester so no ale here.

This is now branded as a Harvester pub but was until recently a Brewers Fayre, therefore the interior is standard open plan and fairly modern with lots of bare brick work and pine. Through the main entrance you will find a small public bar area with a long L shaped bar counter on the left hand side of the room which stretches back to a larger dining area towards the back of the building. To the right of the entrance is a spiral staircase that leads up to a balcony/patio which is sign posted as adults only, while in the back left hand corner of the dining lounge is a large children’s play area with ball pool, slides and screaming kids. The right side of the building is all plate glass which helps keep the pub bright and also provides a good view across much of Torquay’s harbour.

No ale on hand pull, John Smiths and Boddingtons on keg and Old Speckled Hen in bottles which is what I settled for on this visit.

Not my kind of pub at all, no proper beer, very average food, no individual character, no interesting features or decorations and very little atmosphere. A nice view of the harbour and the service was fine so maybe a place for a family meal, but nothing to really draw me back.
