Charlies Bar is a large pub that is just off the main road through Clay Cross, this pub has had a few name changes over the years.
I was'nt expecting any real ales here, but as usuall i was wrong.
Once inside there is a large oblong shaped room with the bar facing, this room had a modern look to it with modern looking pine tables and chairs, but there was some comfy bench seating and tall tables and chairs to the left.
There was a dining area up one step to the rear right and a seperate room off this area to the front right.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Milestone Deliverance which went down well.
This pub is not really to my taste, but it was comfortable enough and the drink was nice.
