The possible reopening of this pub is (somehow) dependent on planning permission for the conversion of the Longville Arms (further down the valley) to residential use (see photo of notice in window of that pub).

Sold to the couple who own the Longville Arms at Much Wenlock according to The Shropshire Star. Will reopen after a refurb according to Bridgnorth CAMRA.

Stone built converted farm cottages , two room traditional pub with a great reputation for food and great beer , was run by the same family for many years and won many awards under their stewardship .
Several attempts have been made to get the pub up and running again , none with much success , future uncertain
