Not a bad pub. Real ales available. Has a large beer garden to the side with various play equipment for shouty children and tables for disinterested parents.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Hightown Hotel

Close to the railway station, this large and friendly run pub offers nine cask beers. On handpump Cains, Bombardier, Spitfire, Speckled Hen, Bass, Greene King IPA, Duechers IPA, John Smiths and London Pride. Well worth my visit.
