Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf

Greene King pub / restaurant with a Hungry Horse menu. However, apart from that, the various seating / dining areas (albeit with the inevitable corporate furniture and decor) seemed a bit more pub-like than I expected. With four handpumps on the counter, I found IPA (£3.60) and Abbot plus a couple of Lilley's ciders being poured.

Graham Coombs left this review about Wheatsheaf

A large pub near Northdown park in the Hungry Horse family dining chain. It does at least retain a proper bar area in the part by the road, with the restaurant part entered from the rear out of the large car park. Inside is fairly tackily furnished with the usual adverts for food offers etc. Two handpumps offered GK IPA (which was off) and Old Mulled Hen - the spiced version of Speckled Hen which was pleasant enough - Cask Marque listing, which is not very usual for Hungry Horses and should be encouraged.
