Now totally done up by Greene King. It's all nice and new and the decor is pleasant with lots of film memorabilia dotted around despite the fact that the Futurist cinema was on Lime St and nowhere near here. To the rear of the pub you will find 3 or 4 booths to your left complete with TV in each. Lots of fizzpops on the bar and no real ale. My pint of Guinness set me back £5.60. Its a nice conversion but no real ale means my visits will be extremely rare.

would be uninspiring if it was in many other parts of the city but in the middle of Liverpool's 'Hell on Earth' sector a proper pub is a godsend in the day time. shoppers and pensioners make up the clientele. inside it's a bit of a mess but traditional enough. can be a bit of a squeeze with so much space handed to diners.

A good pub with a good atmosphere. Its a long thin pub that stretches back with the servery in the middle. The main seating areas are to either side of the bar. Usually busy as its smack bang in the middle of town and also smack bang in the middle of the shopping area. Beware of tripping over bags of shopping during daytime hours. Usually 3 uninspiring real ales on.
