Central horseshoe bar serves a standard draught selection plus "craft keg". Blown up newspaper front pages on one wall.

The Newsroom is a light, airy modern cafe bar just off the Princes Street area at the top of Leith Street. Characterised by comfortable seating and a lounge-type atmosphere it makes a good place to have lunch or an evening snack at a reasonable price. The clientele is mainly business people plus a couple of "ladies wot lunch". Staff are pleasant and helpful and the decor is neutral. There is a good food selection, but sadly no ale on draft. I had a sandwich and a bottle of Deuchres, fine as a mid-day break but I wouldn't include in a crawl.
