As the name says a rather grand bar-restaurant in the extravagantly Scottish baronial ex Scotsman newspaper building. It is elegant and as you may expect for one of the top hotels in Edinburgh rather expensive, the cheapest whisky is £7.50 and you can pay approaching £100 for the rarer ones – that’s for a single measure.
