Back street pub a very short walk from the seafront. We arrived here just before 1pm and it was already pretty busy, a few football fans in here so maybe coupled with being a bank holiday Monday this was the reason.
2 bars, the bar on the right was the busier of the 2 & mainly filled with fellas. The other bar housed the pool table and was fairly quiet. Out the back is a large smoking area and garden.
The ale on was Fuller's London Pride and was well kept and slipped down very well.
Fully carpeted with plenty of seating around the edges. TV on a music channel with the sound off, I also spied a juke box.
Decent crowd of friendly punters and a very helpful barmaid who promptly ordered us 2 cabs to transport us to the football.
Worthy of another visit at some stage.

There were a handful of locals and a small overly friendly rat like dog in situ when I visited on a recent Saturday afternoon. The right hand bar houses a plasma screen that was showing Sky Sports. A lone hand pump was drawing Fuller’s London Pride and alongside the standard keg were Amstel and Tuborg. There was no background music, but I did note the presence of a jukebox.
In the left hand bar are a pool table, a dartboard and another plasma screen. I found the service to be friendly, but I found more interesting pubs during my walk around the area.
