Steve C left this review about Lion Quays Inn

I exhibited at a conference in the Lion Quays Hotel and spa complex in November last year so spent quite a bit of time in this bar and restaurant over my three day stay. To the left of the entrance is some bucket and armchair seating in a drawing room styled area. The L shaped bar then runs down the length of the left wall to the rear where a large table and counters are used for food service. Seating for dining is located down the right-hand side. I ate here twice and found the food to be good. The bar supports three hand pumps that were drawing Stonehouse Station Bitter and Cambrian alongside Kelly Point IPA West Coast IPA, which was the guest beer. There is also a standard keg range.
Down the right-hand side is a large terrace full of patio tables and chairs that face multiple moorings on the canal. Judging by the size of this area I imagine it gets very busy here on hot summer afternoons. As hotel bars go this one was good.

Alan Hurdle left this review about Lion Quays Inn

Lion Quays is a large hotel restaurant and bar. The casual drinker is not forgotton with two cask ales (usually from local Stonehouse brewery) served in a comfortable bar. The outside seating terrace is alongside the Llangollen canal with extensive mooring facilities. Even the Gents toilets have luxury facilities such as a mirror above each urinal so you can see what you a doing. A view withheld for a long time for more portly gentleman!
