Sam Smiths pub with their usual offerings. One room with bar to the right and a beer garden to the left.

When i first went in this pub it was called the Wig and Mitre which was a Samuel Smiths tied house with probably the most expensive pint in Lincoln at the time of visit.
For some strange reason the Wig and Mitre has been renamed to Widow Cullens Well and a new pub just up from here is now called the Wig and Mitre, all very confusing.
Once inside the pub has a single narrow room which extends to the rear, the bar is halfway down the room on the right side, the seating is bench type and normal tables and chairs.
There are two pumps on the bar both serving Old Brewery Bitter which was very nice and also very cheap.
Worth a visit for the cheap beer after the slog uphill.

Pub first visited has Wig and Mitre 27/3/1983
