As described by Alan below, there is a conservatory to the right but this now has a pool table in it, as well as plants. The main bar area has a wood veneer floor and a grey bar counter with a solitary hand pump serving Wainwright fake cask. It's declared as such, but unusually it's being served through a tight sparkler. This caused some ructions when I asked for a half, but eventually it settled down and I was compensated for my wait with about three quarters of a pint of cold keg beer (Wainwright "worth the walk" 4.1%, £3.90/pint), with most of the CO2 forced out of it. This is an odd place, almost designed to make people feel at home when they go on holiday to Blackpool, or Torremolinos, but not quite.

The Angel looks like a 70s built pub,the pub is a short walk from the middle of Woodhouse.
Once inside there was a large L shaped lounge to the right, this room was carpeted and had bench seating and chairs, there was a conservatory down a few steps to the right which looked more like a dining area, there was smaller seperate bar to the left which was not in use on my early Saturday dinner visit.
There were no pumps on the bar,but there were three keg bitters on,i had a drink of Stones bitter which was a decent enough drink, the other beers were Tetley smooth and John Smiths smooth crap.
The pub was empty on my visit but there was a TV showing football previews.
This is a smart enough pub that i would expect to appeal to older drinkers.
