I called in here on a circuit of Belper, arriving at about 1pm. There was no one about, just some very loud pop music playing. I went up to the bar and read through the pump clips. There were 10 hand pumps, with two ciders and a range of mostly local beers on the remaining eight. I did think of calling out to make my presence known, but didn't feel up to competing with the music, so after about three minutes I walked out.

This pub used to be called the Spinning Jenny and it is on the crossroads at the centre of Openwoodgate.
Once inside this pub is fairly smart and did have beers from the Marstons range but the pub is'nt signed as a Marstons house.
