Thuck Phat left this review about Queens Head Inn

From the street the Queen’s Head appears to be a traditional, stone built village boozer.
The impression continues inside as you enter the comfortable bar area complete with friendly staff and inviting hand pumps.
Only on investigation do you realise the extent of the place which includes large dining areas, a hotel and car park running right down to the River Nene.
Beers on were Greene King IPA, Doom Bar, Grainstore Rutland Osprey and an excellent Adnams Ghost Ship.
Worth stopping by if you’re thirsty and in the area.

Bucking Fastard left this review about Queens Head Inn

An old stone building with seperate ,modern accomodation units build down to the waterfront where there are moorings but totally unusable due to the side channel off the River Nene having silted up and with low water levels in the current drought. You enter into the bar room, with much exposed stonework ,a wood burner and some traditional furniture.A screen was available for World Cup soccer and so this is the place to drink, rather than being it what may appear from the street to be a hotel bar.The 4 handpumps were drawing GK IPA,Doom Bar and a very good Adnam's Ghost Ship refreshing on a hot day.Beyond an arch is a two level dining area, smart and contemporary.
Although the ale selection was mainstream,I enjoyed my visit and would use this pub again. The staff were most helpful and welcoming.
