A beautiful looking building from the outside, but the modern styling of the interior, with cheap feature wallpaper walls and sterile white painted walls didn't inspire us to stay long. The layout consisted of the bar area on the left which you step up into, a small snug area at the entrance with a large flat screen TV on the wall and a rear dining room. Four handpumps with two beers on, Pedigree and Brakspear Oxford Gold. The Brakspear was too cold for me and the din from the locals on our Saturday afternoon visit was overpowering.
