This is an unspoilt country pub with a great local community and probably the finest view from any pub garden in southern england. Good food, especially the pie menu (steak & ale, chicken & ham, beef & stilton, minted Lamb and others) and 3 or 4 real ales on handpump including London Pride and Hop Back Summer Lightning. Also has quality B & B rooms and a new childrens playground with climbing frame, swings, slides etc. Well worth a trip to enjoy a proper local village pub.
