The Runner is located on one of the main roads heading in/out of Swindon. It is an Arkell's pub with a large car park. Inside was a little smaller than I had anticipated, but has a number of different sections.
Football was being shown on the TV, whilst they seem to specialise in food. However, the beer range was severely depleted. The only real ale was Wiltshire Gold, whilst many of the keg offerings were also off. I guess that is the price of being tied to a brewery that cannot keep up with demand. Disappointing.
