Old Boots left this review about Smiths Arms
Posh looking, food led, stone built pub opposite church and school in a small village. Interior is brewers tudor and reminiscent of a certain type of hotel. Excellent ale from local brewer Daleside plus Wells Bombardier and the usual bulk beers. Food is excellent, fresh, and mid priced making the place popular with ladies who lunch and middle aged couples but not exclusively so. Service is professional and friendly. Close enough to Harrogate to attract bored conference goers and lunching exec's.
