Blue Scrumpy left this review about The George
The George was a disappointing start to another crawl of South East London pubs. The bus stop outside is convenient. But this seems much more of a dining establishment than a pub. Pride was the solitary real ale, despite there also being a Doom Bar clip that was not on. Some of the keg beers were also off.
The interior is fairly contemporary, with plenty of seating. There is also a garden and a car park at the rear. Staff were friendly enough and the pub did at least give us some advance practice for the government's latest Covid regulations. But I wouldn't bother returning here.
