The Blacksmiths Arms is a nice looking pub that is situated in the small village of Everton.
Once inside there are lots of different rooms and on different levels, the bar faced after we had gone through a room with full sized body in a suit of armour, there was also a real fire on the go in this room, there is a larger room to the rear and more rooms to the left, plus a conservatory to the rear, which looked more like a dining area.
The seating is bench type and normal tables and chairs.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Lees MPA,which went down well, the other beers were Theakston Old Peculiar and Hobgoblin.
Background music was playing and the pub was fairly busy in most rooms.
We thought this was a very nice pub to have a drink in.

Will Larter left this review about Blacksmiths Arms

A multi-roomed village pub hidden in the back streets of Everton, with white walls, black beams, wood panelling and a solid fuel stove set in a two-sided hearth between the front room and the sports room. There's a neat corner seat in the small space through which entry is gained, and this sets the tone for the whole pub, which is a pleasure to be in. The bar is set centrally, with a few high chairs in front; the pool table is in the room to the left which also has a dart board and a wide screen TV. Further round to the right are other spaces that lead into one another, not quite preserving an original layout of small rooms but nevertheless giving an almost traditional feel to the place.

On the bar there are four hand pumps, of which three were in use at the time of my lunchtime visit. The beers available were Castle Rock Harvest Pale, Everards Tiger and Theakstons Old Peculier. I had the Tiger, which was in very good condition. I received a friendly welcome and although it was early on a weekday afternoon, there were a few other people already in the pub, which considering this is by no means a touristy area suggests that it's a valuable and well used village facility. Hard to get to without your own transport though - the 27a bus from Bawtry doesn't run unless booked in advance: call 01427 679 9346.

The Blacksmith Arms at Everton is a genuine, 17th century free house at the heart of the village.

Real Ales and a food offering.

Dave and Mandy from The Ship @ Bawtry Added The Blacksmiths Arms at Everton to their business in September 2010.They intend to return it to it's former glory as the hub of the village offering good ale fine wine and a food
