The Forresters Arms has new landlords (September 2010) and they are already making lots of lovely changes that promise a wonderful welcome for any who find this beautiful part of the West Sussex countryside. It is well worth the effort because you will find warm and comfortable bedrooms, good beer, great food and a cosy welcoming atmosphere. I hope to return in a couple of weeks' time to celebrate a family birthday so will report again!

Excellent village local, benefitting from being on a road to nowhere! Nicely kept and friendly, with what seemed to be a long series of rooms, although we headed into the reasonably-sized gardens. Some very good food, although service slightly erratic, and several good beers. Worth a detour.
