Formerly a favourite pre-match haunt of football fans, when Airdrieonians old Broomfield stadium was just across the road, it hasn't changed much in appearance since they decamped to the suburbs. It's perhaps trying to attract a younger clientele now, however, with bright lighting and unnecessarily loud music. The pool table in the middle of the floor with blue baize covering might suggest another footballing allegiance. An undistinguished town centre pub, with Tennents, Carlsberg and Carling lagers, Guinness, Belhaven Best and Strongbow cider all on draught.
