Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Stone Horse

Just about qualifying as a country pub, although located only a short distance beyond the A289 Wainscott Northern Bypass that defines the north-west limit of the Medway Towns. Anyway, despite a relatively light refreshment at some stage, the two separate bars retain some traditional character. Only one of the counters has any handpumps, but Doom Bar (£4.05), London Pride and Ghost Ship were available from three of these.

John Dent left this review about Stonehorse

A pleasant country pub set well back from the main road. Limited parking space could be a problem during busy periods. Two separate rooms served from a single bar area. Food seemed to be popular though I did not eat there myself. Small garden area out the back seemed pleasantly secluded. Four real ales available when I was there - Doombar, London Pride, Harvey's Olympic and one more I've forgotten but which was described as a plum porter. My Doombar was in very good condition and was priced at £3.65. I guess that dogs must be welcome as the pub served a special beer brewed for canines called Snuffles - I kid you not! - which was for sale at £2.45 per bottle ... and, the barmaid told me, people buy it for their pouches. Just be mindful that the pub does not open on a Monday lunch time.
