Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dark Horse

New-fangled craft beer emporium, with a square bar at the front, extending back through the narrower rectangular dining area to the kitchen at the back. Eclectic decor and a mix of furniture, with a fairly amount of further seating (seemingly shared with the adjoining Cheval Blanc) out on the front decking terrace. No real ale available, but a very wide choice from 14 keg taps on a hooped fount and a pair of free-standing ones on either side. I experimented with the Siren Crema (which was described as a coffee-flavoured 'white stout', which was certainly interesting and different, at £2.30 for half).

Al Bundy left this review about The Dark Horse

A fairly large crafty beer bar. Its on two floors with the upper bit used for live music apparently. The ground floor bit is basically rectangular in shape and the servery is immediately to your left on entering. Wooden floored throughout with the front bit having bare brick walls. To the rear is a food bar. 2 handpumps on the bar featuring Oakham Citra and Purity Ubu today. 14 taps for overpriced crafty beers and cider. Its ok and if you're into being trendily ripped off with your beer then you're in.

Large art bar, sister of Prince of Wales & compliments it in style. This is modern with chunky tables, arm chairs, sofas & floral wall paprer all served by a steel topped bar. Bohemian and very Moseley, an alternative to the traditional pub.

There was only one real ale, the emphasis is on trendy brands of drinks rather than hand pulls, but the Purity UBU, which isn't usually to my taste. was kept very well.
